Bents Elevator and tractors, Saskatchewan

This classic prairie elevator is situated north of highway #7 between Rosetown and Saskatoon, about 15 km’s northwest of Harris as the crow flies.

Bents was originally attached to a short Canadian Pacific Rail line that hosted just two elevators at Bents in 1965. A United Grain Growers elevator with a capacity of 52,000 bushels now gone, and this one a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator with a capacity of 74,000 bushels.
